Thomas Z. Ramsøy
Together with Bernard Baars, I have been part of the startup and daily maintenance of SCR. I’m trained as a clinical neuropsychologist, and have worked at different clinical sites.
I have now more or less left the clinical to work with cognitive neuroscience. I’m now doing my Ph.D. at the Danish Research Centre for Magnetic Resonance, i.e. I’m studying different cognitive processes in the brain using functional and structural MRI doing. Projects and interests include subliminal perception and introspection, the neural substrates of consciousness, development and ageing, substance abuse (MDMA/ecstasy + polydrug), decision making and neuromarketing, and neuroethics.
