Web Internship

TAO Network International Internship Program [Virtual]

The Arts Office offers internships for qualified student participants.  This internship is an uncompensated position designed to provide students with off-campus Web development, arts administration and international business experience, and to receive college credit if possible.

The program is informal and can be designed to work within the student’s schedule, but it does require a weekly commitment.  Internship positions are available by semester or annually. Visit our website to find out more about us: http://www.theartsoffice.net.

The Web Master/Developer Internship will initially report directly to the Executive Director

Responsibilities: General maintenance and updating of website, including up to date info on artists and exhibition/events calendar.  The Arts Office is a paperless organization; therefore the Web Master/Developer is also responsible for the final output of our newsletter and e-vites. The possibility exists for a semester project of overhauling the company website(s).

Skills needed: Organized, detail oriented, self-starter comfortable with but preferably advanced capability with the Internet, Websites, scripting including html & php.  Virtual World Building & Scripting a plus.
